Liberstad will be divided into different districts or zones that have different purposes. The main property of 150 hectares will be divided into the following zones or districts.
The Central District is the first area you encounter when you come to Liberstad. This area will be reserved for offices, shops, restaurants, pubs, market-squares, cafes and other public areas such as parks, playgrounds and more.
The Central District is open to everyone and Liberstads residents can rent offices, retail and other types of premises for running businesses aimed towards other residents, visitors and tourists. Renovation and security services will be provided by Liberstad Drift AS
There will be no residential housing in the central district except a Bed & Breakfast that will be constructed in the old chicken-house located in this area. A fitting name for the B&B will be "Chicken House Bed & Breakfast", and here we hope to build 16 double rooms with bathrooms.
Liberstad Drift AS will work to attract visitors and tourists to generate income for those selling goods and services in Liberstad which in turn will contribute to economic growth and development.
TOURIST & CONCERT DISTRICT
The tourist and concert district will be located on the west side of the central district and is also open to everyone, but will mainly be reserved for tourists and visitors. The district will consist of three parts;
The concert area will be fenced inn and concerts will have entrance fee. Besides concerts and events that site will be open to residents and guests and can be used for sport, play and other activities
Housing district will consist of approximately 70 hectares of land distributed on two parcels, of which 25 hectares will be sold as freehold land. The remaining 45 hectares in this area will be common areas for the residents. The common areas will consist of road and footpaths, parks and playgrounds. The housing district will be a private area and is not open to the public but will be reserved for residents and visitors to residents of Liberstad. This area will also have security and sanitation provided by Liberstad Drift AS.
NATURE & RECREATION DISTRICT
The remaining areas on the eastern parcel will consist of forest and nature and can be used as open-air area for both residents and guests of Liberstad. Here there will be no settlement and residents and visitors can use this for hiking-trips, fitness, skiing, winter games, etc. We will construct obstacle courses and trails that will also be used in connection with the summer camp for children and youth.
Eldhusdals-lake of about 100 acres is intended for drinking water for Liberstad is also located in this area. Although the water is intended for drinking water it can also be used for swimming and boating. Boats and canoes will be available for loan. The drinking water that will be drained from this lake will go through an approved filtering- and UV plant before it is transferred in pipes down to the city.
After we have made good progress with the development of the first property that is Tjelland Farm we will try to buy 3 other properties located around, and adjacent to, Tjelland Farm. We have already been offered to buy one of these (marked in red) and we have also received indications from the landowners of the other two properties (marked green and blue) that these will also be available for purchase.
By purchasing the other surrounding properties Liberstad will consist of a total 277 hectares of property and could potentially include 200-300 freehold plots. But of course we have no plans to stop the expansion here, and our goal is to expand and expand continuously and adding more and more properties in under the Liberstad project.
