The development of Liberstad is moving forward and with new construction machinery we are ready to speed up the progress.
We have been running a donation campaign for the last two months to raise funds to buy an excavator in Liberstad, and up to now we have received donations in excess of 140,000 kroner.
For the development of roads, plots, parking-lots and common areas we are completely dependent on an excavator of a certain size and our goal was to get a used 20-30 ton excavator.
A used excavator of this size costs from 300,000 to 700,000 kroner and we must admit that it was an ambitious goal we had set to raise 450,000 kroner through donations. But there are many people who support our project and want to help us with the development of Norway's first private city, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who have donated to the campaign.
Most of the donations have come in the form of different crypto-currencies and we have received both Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash and Dogecoin worth about 70,000 kroner. In addition, we have also received about 30,000 kroner via bank transfers, and PayPal. This in addition to the 40,000 kroner we already had on our donation account now amounts to over 140,000 kroner.
We want to thank everyone who has donated and contributed to the campaign and we are deeply touched by all the support and assistance we receive for the development of Liberstad.
An excavator is an important machine in the initial development, and the faster we get this in place the faster we can develop Liberstad. We have now been fortunate enough to have received an incredible generous offer from a contributor who offered us an interest-free loan so that we could acquire an excavator.
At the same time we also received a very good offer of a used excavator from TS Maskinsalg and Reparasjon AS in Kristiansand, which could offer us a 2005 model Hitachi ZX280 LC 28-ton excavator for 460,000 kroner. Included in the price was free delivery to Liberstad and 3 new-quality buckets for a total value of approximately 250,000 kroner.
We are therefore pleased to announce that Liberstad Drift AS is the proud owner of this amazing construction machine that has already been widely used in Liberstad for over a month.
We would like to thank our generous lender who has contributed to the fact that we are now owner of a 28-ton excavator that we can use to upgrade the roads, build the camping-area, the concert-area, parks and parking lots.
We also wish to thank TS Maskinsalg and Repair AS for an incredibly good offer and excellent service.
ARTICULATED DUMP TRUCK
The excavator that we are now the proud owner of is an indispensable machine for digging and planning roads and areas with. But with an excavator of this size, there are also large amounts of soil and stone masses that will be moved over longer distances on the property. The tractor-trailer that we have available only manages to load one single bucket from the excavator and is not meant to move the huge amounts of mass that the excavator is able to take out. For this work, we need a dumper-trailer or a dedicated dump-truck built for this particular work.
Our friends at TS Maskinsalg and Reparasjon AS could offer us a well-used Volvo A35 dump-truck for 200,000 kroner with interest-free and flexible repayments as well as free delivery to Liberstad. We chose to accept the offer and we are pleased to announce that both the 28-ton excavator and the 35-ton dump-truck are in full operation and is making good progress with the development of Liberstad.
We are still reliant on repaying both the loan used for the excavator and the repayment of the dump-truck and we will therefore continue the donation-campaign to raise funds for this and other costs. The donation-campaign will therefore not be exclusively dedicated to the excavator but will include all the new investments and the general development of Liberstad..
Donations will go to Liberstad Development Fund and will be used to repay the loan, dump-truck and other investments related to the development of Liberstad.
We have created a new donation-page on our website and we are deeply grateful for all donations and contributions we receive regardless of size and currency. We accept all the most common crypto-currencies as donations in addition to fiat (NOK, EUR and USD)
